Privacy Policy
You spend your days protecting others — we take protecting your privacy just as seriously.
Effective date: June 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Nurse Moves LLC (“Nurse Moves,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, protects, and shares information when you use our website at https://nursemoves.com and the Nurse Moves mobile app (together, the “Service”). Nurse Moves is a wellness and burnout-recovery platform for nurses — and trust is the foundation of everything we build. We’ve written this policy in plain English so you always know where you stand.
The short version: we collect only what we need to run the Service, your wellness and self-assessment data stays private to your account, and we never sell your personal data. Ever.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Website forms. When you join the Nurse Moves early-access list, contact us, or sign up through forms on our website, we collect your name, email address, and nursing role.
- App account information. When you create an account in the Nurse Moves app, we collect the information you provide during sign-up and onboarding, such as your name, email address, role, and the preferences you set (for example, your shift schedule or wellness goals).
- Content you create. The Service lets you complete burnout self-assessments, keep a journal, record voice check-ins, post in the community feed, and interact with wellness features. This content is stored with your account so the Service can work for you.
Information collected automatically
- Usage analytics. We collect basic information about how the Service is used — such as which screens are viewed, which features are opened, and general device and app-version information — so we can fix problems and improve the experience. Our analytics are minimal and first-party (see Section 7).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and improve the Service — operate the app and website, keep your account working, troubleshoot issues, and make the Service better over time.
- Personalize your wellness content — for example, using your self-assessment responses to build your personalized recovery care plan and suggest relevant mindfulness, movement, and rest content.
- Communicate with you — send product updates, early-access invitations, and messages about the Service. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time.
- Keep the Service safe — detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, or security issues.
We never sell your personal data. Nurse Moves does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any reason.
3. Health & Wellness Data
Some of what you share with Nurse Moves is sensitive — burnout self-assessment responses, mood check-ins, journal entries, and voice check-ins. We treat this data with extra care:
- Private to your account. Your self-assessment responses, scores, journal entries, and check-ins are private to your account. They are not shared with your employer, your colleagues, or other users.
- Aggregate insights only. If we analyze wellness data to understand trends — for example, to learn which recovery tools help nurses most — we use aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you.
- Not a medical record. Nurse Moves is a wellness platform, not a healthcare provider. The data you enter is not a medical record, and the Service is not a medical device, therapy, or a substitute for professional care. This assessment is designed to help you reflect on your current level of stress and burnout. It is not a medical diagnosis, mental health evaluation, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of harming yourself, please contact emergency services or call/text 988 (U.S. Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
4. Data Storage & Security
- Encryption. Your data is protected with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
- Infrastructure. The Service runs on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the United States.
- Access controls. Access to personal data is limited to the people and systems that need it to operate the Service.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information and we review our security practices regularly. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
5. When We Share Information
We share personal information only in these limited situations:
- Service providers under contract. We work with a small number of trusted providers (such as hosting, email delivery, and analytics infrastructure) who process data on our behalf. They are bound by contract to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or other valid legal process, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or Nurse Moves.
- Business transfers. If Nurse Moves is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or in how your personal data is handled.
That’s it. We do not share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or employers.
6. Your Rights & Choices
You are in control of your data. At any time, you can:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion — request that we delete your account and personal data.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@nursemoves.com. We will respond as quickly as we can, and within the timeframes required by applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws — we honor those too.
7. Cookies & Analytics
We keep tracking to a minimum:
- We use minimal, first-party analytics to understand how the Service is used — things like page views and feature usage. This data stays with us; we do not use it to follow you around the web.
- We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
- Essential cookies or local storage may be used to keep you logged in and remember your preferences.
8. Children’s Privacy
Nurse Moves is built for nursing professionals and nursing students. The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@nursemoves.com and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Service evolves or the law changes. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will give you additional notice — such as an email or an in-app message. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
